To compete with Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Samsung has introduced their latest smartphones named the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Edge during the MWC conference held in Barcelona.
Samsung Galaxy S6 / Edge design :
Unlike previous models where plastic was used in abundance by Samsung. It has finally adopted the aluminium housing instead of the plastic one, but this time the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Edge are both dressed in one piece, no changeable battery and they come with a Gorilla Glass 4.
Samsung Galaxy S6 / Edge Processor and memory :
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Edge have a 8-core Exynos processor, running at 2.1 GHz frequency and 64 bits architecture support.A 3 GB of RAM and a built-in memory storage starting from 32,64 and 128 GO.
Samsung Galaxy S6 / Edge Screen and Camera :
Both phones come with a 5.1 inches screen, using the Super AMOLED technology with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels; the same as LG G3 and Google Nexus 6.The built in camera is a 16 megapixel module, with an optical stabilization system and an IR sensor serve to balance colors and heart beat detector.
Samsung Galaxy S6 / Edge Battery and operating time :
Samsung Galaxy S6 is equipped with a non replaceable battery of 2550 mAh, while the Edge comes with a slightly different battery capacity of 2600 mAh. Both of them support standard wireless charging systems and claimed a super fast charging cycle.
Samsung Galaxy S6 / Edge Fingerprint scanner and Colors :
Samsung introduced a new fingerprint scanner that no longer required a slide down to unlock the device. In term of colors, both of the phones are available in white, black, blue, green and gold.
last but not least, the Galaxy S6 and Edge are running Android 5.0 Lollipop as a mobile system operation.
