Apple is preparing to introduce the next-generation Apple Watch in the 3rd quarter of this year, reports Economic Daily News. Citing market watchers, the Chinese market states the new wearable will definitely feature improved performance and even longer battery life.

The Watch is expected to be manufactured by Quanta Computer, who was responsible for constructing the first and second-gen models, and their focus will definitely be enhancing the battery. The component will not probable see much modification, the report added.


That last fact will let down clients who are not delighted with the current Apple Watch hardware. Since the device was first introduced in 2014, it's maintained the same thick, square design through what has [effectively] been 3 different models.


Previous reports have indeed proposed Apple has higher ambitions for its own smartwatch. Rumors have included a FaceTime camera, new types of health and fitness sensors, and the moving of components like the haptic feedback engine to the Watch band.
