Apple today revealed a new iPad that succeeds the iPad Air 2. His name? IPad, just. It ships a screen of 9.7 inches and its less expensive than its predecessor: it starts at 329 $ .
Technical specifications consist of:
- A9 processor (accompanied by the M9 coprocessor) and not the A10 Combination processor which is the current and the one used in the iPhone 7.
- 9.7 inches screen (2048 x 1536).
- An 8-megapixel video camera at the back with a ƒ/ 2.4 aperture (no support for Live Photos and no Flash True Tone), can take videos in 1080p.
- A 1.2-megapixel front cam that can shoot in 720p.
- Two speakers.
- Integrates the Touch ID finger print sensor.
- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n/ ac, Bluetooth 4.2, support for 4G.
This brand-new iPad is available for sale on March 24th. Three colors are proposed: silver, sidereal gray and gold. In the Wi-Fi model, Apple sales the new iPad 32 GB at 329 $ and the iPad 128 GB at 429 $. As a variant Wi-Fi + 4G, the 32 GB model is at 459 $ and the iPad 128 GB is at 559 $.
