iPhone is not made for making calls, it looks like Apple is thinking even further by granted a new patent for cars. The manufacturer has been allowed to patent a system to open his car using an iPhone. Data transmission is done by Bluetooth and the user could even start the engine.
Cars become increasingly connected nowadays and Apple is already thinking for an innovative ideas.
So goodbye keys? Yes and No, while the question remain unanswered. If your iPhone is out of battery, how are we supposed to open or close the car? A key game should be required for this kind of situation, unless Apple has an alternative.
