According to the leaked images, the iPad Mini 4 housing has only known small changes as the controls location remained the same.Regarding the volume keys, they are more-likely to look like the iPhone 6 version and noticeable new microphone hole next to the rear camera.

It is obviously too early to talk about any hardware changes for the new generation of iPad Mini as it still six months before the official announcement from Apple.
